The D-Day Landing Beaches
The beaches of the Bessin still bear the "physical" signs of the arrival of the Allied forces who came to liberate Europe. The "Bessin Seulles et Mer" area contains sites that are remarkable from every point of view, enabling the visitor to discover or rediscover this major event: "History with a capital H"… not forgetting that other, lesser known history, that tells of the lives of the men who landed here one morning, on 6th June 1944.
